All-Star Arm Care Clinic

D-BAT’s July All-Star Arm Care Clinic is designed to help your child develop throwing skills that will set them up for future success while building the strength and discipline needed to excel on the mound today. Our experienced instructors will guide your child through dynamic warm-up routines, arm activation exercises, and mental preparation techniques to ensure they are focused and loose when they take the mound.

Grips, drills, balance, coordination, command, and control are important to a pitcher’s success, but arm care is the foundation. This clinic focuses on:

  • Targeted warmup exercises
  • Nurturing and strengthening the arm
  • Preventing injury
  • Conditioning for longevity
  • Recovery strategies

Children of all skill and experience levels will benefit from the personal and attentive approach of D-BAT instructors, leaving with new tools they can rely upon and a deepening excitement for the game.

Seeing your child compete on the diamond and share their “strikeout” count is thrilling for any baseball parent. Care is the key to success on the mound and longevity in the game. Give your child the competitive edge they need to perform at their peak through each stage of competition.

Clinic Instructor

Ben Krauth

Ben Krauth is a former professional pitcher with 6 years of experience in the Cleveland Guardians and San Diego Padres organizations and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role as an instructor at D-BAT Scottsdale.

A native of Concord, CA, Ben’s love for baseball began at the age of three when he received his first glove. His journey took him from Diablo Valley College to the University of Kansas, where he honed his skills and became a key asset to the Jayhawks in the highly competitive Big 12 conference.

Now, Ben dedicates himself to helping young players maximize their potential both on and off the field. With a focus on pitching mechanics, approach, and arm care, he provides personalized guidance to each athlete he works with. Ben’s extensive experience and expertise, combined with his genuine enthusiasm for the game, make him an invaluable resource for players looking to take their skills to the next level.

His favorite quote, “Nobody Cares, Work Harder,” encapsulates his philosophy and the mentality he aims to instill in his students.

Frequently Asked Questions

Children are welcome to use any of their own equipment during the clinic. 

Bats, helmets, and balls will be provided for all children who require them and if your child needs any additional equipment, we have a fully stocked pro shop which offers quality, age appropriate equipment such as gloves, protective equipment, hitting gloves, and more.

Parents are always welcome to wait at the facility and are even welcome to watch the clinic.

If you’d prefer to drop off your child and pick them up at the conclusion of the clinic, that is okay as well.
