Never used a pitching machine cage before? Start at 35 mph and work your way up. Been playing for years? Dial it to 70. You control the settings after every 15 swings. Our machines use real leather balls, not the rubber dimple balls, and accommodate baseball, fast pitch softball, and slow pitch softball.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring my own bat and helmet?
No. Bats and helmets are available to borrow at no charge. If you have your own, bring it. D-BAT Mesa also has a pro shop on site if you want to pick up any gear.
What equipment does each cage come with?
Every cage comes with baseballs or softballs, an L-screen, and a batting tee. The pitching machine cages also include the machine with full speed and pitch type selection.
What is the difference between a Standard Cage and a Pitching Machine Cage?
Standard cages include an L-screen, and a batting tee. No machine; you provide the pitcher.
Do you have a HitTrax machine?
Yes! We have one machine at D-BAT Mesa. HitTrax is a data tool that tracks how far you hit on an actual field and tells you how hard you hit the ball in mph. This machine uses double credits.
How long are cage rentals?
Non-machine cage rentals are in 30-minute increments. Machine cages are not able to be reserved in advance. During busy periods, we ask that users rotate after every 3 rounds of 15 balls each.
What pitching speeds are available?
Baseball and fast pitch softball machine speeds are 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70 mph.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, D-BAT memberships include discounts on cage rentals.
