This co-ed catching clinic for ages 6-13 is built for the athlete who is not willing to let June slow them down. While most kids take the summer off, yours will be inside D-BAT Peoria getting position-specific coaching that moves them forward — receiving, blocking, throwing mechanics, and game management, all coached by people who know exactly what this role demands.
Kids are grouped by age and ability so every athlete works at the right level. Whether your catcher came through our April clinic and is ready for the next step, or this is their first time in this environment, they will leave each Wednesday with real corrections they can feel and real progress they can build on.
Register for all 4 Wednesdays to give your catcher the full experience. Single nights are available for families who need flexibility.

June in Arizona means one thing for most kids: slow down, sleep in, and let the season wind down. That is exactly why the catchers who train this month are the ones who show up in the fall in a different category.
This clinic is for the athlete who is not interested in losing what they built.
If you were with us in April, you already know what this environment feels like. This is the next step. If this is your first time here, you are walking into a room full of kids who take this position seriously. Either way, you belong here.
No one gets lost. No one coasts.
👉 Receiving and framing pitches
👉 Blocking technique in the dirt
👉 Footwork and throwing mechanics
👉 Game management and communication behind the plate
👉 The mental side of catching — staying locked in, pitch after pitch
Most athletes take June off. Our coaches are here every Wednesday because the gap between a good catcher and a great one is built in the months when nobody else is working. The facility is indoor and climate-controlled. The heat outside is not a factor. The only thing that matters in here is getting better.
Catchers are wired differently. They want to be pushed. Our coaches meet them there — honest feedback, real corrections, and the kind of encouragement that actually lands because it is earned. Your child will leave each session with something they can feel in their body and build on the following week.

D-BAT Peoria provides a quality teaching environment with professional instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels and help them reach their goals.
The best way to teach the game is by getting into the details of baseball and softball with each and every player and instructing them as individuals. D-BAT has a core belief that every player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit his or her game.
Our D-BAT Peoria location features an exceptionally well-lit, indoor climate-controlled facility, with an environment that invites parents to be a part of their ballplayer’s development along with a top notch pro shop to provide all your equipment needs.
We are considered the premier facility in Peoria due in large part to the innovative way that D-BAT connects the player and parent with coaches and facilities to better their game.
Bring your gear and a water bottle!
Bats, helmets, and balls will be provided for all children who require them and if your child needs any additional equipment, we have a fully stocked pro shop which offers quality, age appropriate equipment such as gloves, protective equipment, hitting gloves, and more.
Parents do not need to stay at the facility during that time. You are welcome to stay if you’d like, however, we are staffed and have prepared programming to occupy your child for the entirety of the clinic.

Depends on the clinic.
Please read clinic descriptions carefully to discern if each clinic is appropriate for your athlete. While most of our clinics are appropriate for a variety skill levels, some are more appropriate for players with at least some playing experience.
If you are ever in doubt, please give us a call. We are always happy to answer your questions.
Yes!
We group kids by age and skill level. This means younger athletes are inspired by watching more advanced athletes play but are not overwhelmed by competing with them.
Safety is our priority. This is emphazised by our coaches at every camp and clinic.
We want every athlete to love the sport and leave each day with more confidence than they arrived with. A safe environment is paramount to achieving this goal.
