Dust the Rust is D-BAT’s premier pre-season clinic designed to shake off the winter break and prepare your athlete for an explosive spring season. The first in the 2025 Mastery Clinic Series, Dust the Rust, is a comprehensive three-day program that combines skill-specific training with dynamic speed and agility work, ensuring your player steps onto the field ready to compete at their highest level.

Each day is strategically designed to build and reinforce fundamental baseball skills:
👉 Day 1: Master hitting mechanics and bat control
👉 Day 2: Develop confident fielding and defensive skills
👉 Day 3: Perfect throwing mechanics and pitching fundamentals
Every session concludes with a dedicated 30-minute speed and agility component, helping your athlete build the explosive power and quick reactions essential for success on the diamond.
From T-Ball to Majors, players are grouped by age and skill level, ensuring appropriate instruction and maximum development for every participant. Our experienced D-BAT instructors provide personalized attention within each group, helping players build confidence while refining their skills.

The best way to teach the game is by getting into the details of baseball and softball with each and every player and instructing them as individuals. D-BAT has a core belief that every player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit his or her game.
Our D-BAT Peoria location features an exceptionally well-lit, indoor climate-controlled facility, with an environment that invites parents to be a part of their ballplayer’s development along with a top notch pro shop to provide all your equipment needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment does my child need to bring?
Children are welcome to use any of their own equipment during the clinic.
Bats, helmets, and balls will be provided for all children who require them and if your child needs any additional equipment, we have a fully stocked pro shop which offers quality, age appropriate equipment such as gloves, protective equipment, hitting gloves, and more.
Where are parents expected to wait?
Parents are always welcome to wait at the facility and are even welcome to watch the clinic.
If you’d prefer to drop off your child and pick them up at the conclusion of the clinic, that is okay as well.
What shoes should my child wear?
Athletic shoes only. No cleats, please.
