D-BAT Scottsdale’s Advanced Camp gives experienced ballplayers three hours of serious coaching, competition, and reps, all inside our air-conditioned facility. Built for players who already know the game, ages 12-14, with baseball and softball running together and groups capped at 8 for real coaching attention.
Campers sharpen advanced hitting, defense, and game-speed work with coaches who know how to push them while building self-esteem, not tearing it down. Parents get a productive no-school morning and a kid who put in real work.

No school on September 21 doesn’t mean a day off from getting after it. This Advanced Camp is built for players who’ve already put in the work and want a day to sharpen it — real coaching, real reps, real competition, in our indoor, climate-controlled facility.

This isn’t a beginner’s camp. It’s for players who know the game and are ready to be pushed — advanced hitting, defense, and game-speed work that matches where they already are, not where they started.
Small Groups, Real Attention
We’re capping groups at 8 players. That’s it. No getting lost in a crowd. Just focused coaching, direct feedback, and reps that actually move the needle.
Baseball and Softball, Same Day
Baseball and softball players get a morning of serious training alongside other kids who take it just as seriously as they do.
A Morning That Counts
Drop them off at 9, pick them up at 12. Three hours of work that’ll show up on the field later this season.

Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment does my child need to bring?
Bring your gear, water bottle, and a lunch!
Bats, helmets, and balls will be provided for all children who require them and if your child needs any additional equipment, we have a fully stocked pro shop which offers quality, age appropriate equipment such as gloves, protective equipment, hitting gloves, and more.
Where are parents expected to wait?
Children can be dropped off for camp between 8:45 and 9:00AM and picked up between 1:50 and 2:10PM.
Parents do not need to stay at the facility during that time. You are welcome to stay if you’d like, however, we are staffed and have prepared programming to occupy your child for the entirety of that day.
What shoes should my child wear?
Athletic shoes only. No cleats, please.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we do offer discounts on D-BAT Summer Camp.

My child is newer to baseball, will he/she still enjoy camp?
Absolutely.
Kids who love having fun love D-BAT Camps.
For children who haven’t played competitively — or even recreationally — camp is still a thrill!
There are definitely baseball and softball activities — in addition other activities that kids love, regardless of their familiarity with sports competition.
Of course, if your child loves baseball or softball, they’ll feel right at home, too!
Do children need experience in baseball or softball to participate in a D-BAT Summer Camp?
Nope! No experience is required at all. We’ll be thrilled to teach them more about the sport and introduce them to concepts that might be newer to them, but coach them up so they feel confident participating.
Kids will be grouped by age and experience, so everyone will get the best experience for them!

Can my child stay longer than the regular camp hours?
At this time we do not offer any additional hours.
